Since late March 2026, the traveling exhibition “Pictures for the Human Rights,” organized by the association of the same name, is on display in front of FAU CHREN on Andreij-Sacharow-Platz in Nuremberg.
The Menschenrechtsbüro der Stadt Nürnberg (City of Nuremberg’s Human Rights Office) initiated the open-air exhibition in collaboration with local sponsors, including Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), schools, and institutions. Over the course of several months, the exhibition will be shown at various locations in Nuremberg. The goal is to make the 30 articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights accessible to a broad audience.
On display are works by 30 artists from twelve countries, each of whom has interpreted one of the human rights articles. Accompanying texts in German, English, and simplified language are available. QR codes for sign language videos are also provided.
Additional formats to accompany the exhibition are currently being planned. Further information will follow shortly.
