New university courses winter semester 2025/26

In the winter semester 2025/26, the FAU Research Center for Human Rights Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU CHREN) invites you to join two distinctive courses, each offering a unique lens on law and the protection of human rights.
The online course “Comparative Equality and Non-Discrimination Law provides the opportunity to engage with leading international scholars and collaborate with students from around the globe to analyse contemporary challenges to equality and non-discrimination.
The in-person seminar “Critical Approaches to International Law critically examines international legal systems from feminist, queer, Marxist, and postcolonial perspectives, among others, and fosters interactive, thought-provoking discussions. Both courses are open to all interested participants—no prior knowledge required—and offer a space for debate, new perspectives, and exchange on pressing questions of global justice.
