At the first meeting of the assembly of researchers who secured funding for the Cluster of Excellence “Transforming Human Rights,” known as the Cluster Assembly, members addressed important questions regarding the future development of the cluster. The main focus was on finances, organizational structures, and personnel planning: topics that are crucial for the long-term viability of the cluster.
Finances
An essential point was financial planning. Discussions centered on how to use the available funds sensibly and fairly to enable excellent research.
Organization
The organization of the cluster was also crucial: decision-making processes, responsibilities, and procedures were discussed to ensure efficient and transparent cooperation.

Get-together after the meeting
At the end of the meeting, a cluster party was held, providing an opportunity to conclude the intensive exchange in a relaxed atmosphere. We look forward with great anticipation to the coming months and further collaboration in the Transforming Human Rights Cluster of Excellence. The constructive exchange, joint research, and commitment of all participants are vital to successfully researching the fundamental challenges of transforming human rights.
