Workshop with Prof. Dr. Harry van Buren
The FAU Research Center for Human Rights Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU CHREN) will host a one-day workshop with Prof. Dr. Harry van Buren on 02 July 2026, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, at Andrej-Sacharow-Platz 1, 90403 Nürnberg (Lecture Hall, 4th floor). <br><br>Dr. Harry van Buren, Professor of Business Ethics at the University of Tennessee, is a leading scholar in the field of Business and Human Rights (BHR). His work focuses on human rights, stakeholder theory, and the moral foundations of the firm, contributing significantly to bridging normative theory and management practice.<br>The workshop, titled "The Interdisciplinarity of Business and Human Rights: Curse, Blessing, or Opportunity?", will address broader conceptual and methodological questions that cut across disciplinary boundaries. It offers a space to reflect on how interdisciplinary approaches can shape and advance research and practice in Business and Human Rights.<br><br>We warmly invite PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and faculty members from all disciplines with an interest in BHR to participate in this exchange.<br><br>Registration is required.
